MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING OF April 9, 2026
Current Board Members-
North Berwick- Lauren Janousek, Kate Whalen, Joshua Tabor

A meeting of the Board of Directors was held in person at Noble Middle and High School on April 9, 2026 at 7:00 pm with all members attending in person except Ms. Whalen.
There were 22 in the audience.

Sign Budget Warrants FY’27
Vote to Call and Approve the Warrants

Lauren Janousek read the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Tasker to approve the Vote to Call and Approve the Warrants for the Budget Meeting and the Validation Referendum and to Authorize the Notice of Amounts Adopted. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.

Lauren Janousek read the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Herlihy to:

Approval of 2026-27 School Calendar
Ms. Janousek made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Cyr to accept the 2026-27 School Calendar. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Employment:
Jim Winslow- Noble Middle and High School Assistant Principal. Ms. Cyr made the motion and it was seconded by Mr. Tabor to accept the resignation of Mr. Winslow at the end of the 2025-26 school year. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Maryann Fink- Hanson School Teacher Grade 1. Ms. Cyr made the motion and it was seconded by Mr. Tabor to accept the resignation of Ms. Fink at the end of the 2025-26 school year. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Stephanie Santie- Hussey School Teacher Grade 2. Ms. Herlihy made the motion and it was seconded by Mr. Tabor to accept the resignation of Ms. Santie at the end of the 2025-26 school year. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Lyndsey Lyman- Speech Therapist. Ms. Herlihy made the motion and it was seconded by Mr. Tabor to accept the resignation of Ms. Lyman at the end of the 2025-26 school year. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.

Ms. Tasker noted the untimely passing of Griffin Gower and expressed sincere condolences.
Ms. Basko shared her appreciation for Mr. Tabor.
Mr. Tabor thanked the board for the work and their time.
Ms. Janousek asked how to help community members with clarity regarding chain of command.
Ms. Wheeler suggested setting up a workshop to talk about this and determine steps to move forward and provide a clear process for community members.
