New Student Registration
Step 1: Before you begin:
Currently, this process is optimized for use on a computer.
You can complete the process on a mobile device, however,
for best results, we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer.
If you do not have access to one, please contact the school and we will make one available to you!
Please gather the following:
Household information -- address and phone numbers.
Parent information -- work and cell phone numbers, email addresses.
Student information -- demographic and health/medication information.
Emergency contact -- phone numbers.
Digital Copy / photo(s) Saved on your computer (PDF or JPEG):
Child's Birth Certificate
Proof of Residency (Utility Bill, Mortgage/Deed, Lease/Rental Agreement, etc)
Immunization Records / additional Medical Documentation (if applicable)
IEP Documents (if applicable)

Step 4: Check your Email
After you submit your Application, you will receive an email stating that your Application is under review. This review process normally takes up to 5 business days.
Once the review process has been completed, you will receive another email
stating that your Application has been:
Placed on Hold Status:
Follow the instructions in the email to provide the school with additional required information.
or
Approved:
Follow the instructions in the email to contact your student's school and setup your in-person
meet and greet or any applicable screenings (new K).
Screenings
All incoming K Students in the state of Maine participate in various forms of screening prior to the start of school. In MSAD #60 we take a closer look at speech and language development, concepts, and fine motor skills.
Kindergarten Jump Start
Some students will be selected to attend Kindergarten Jump Start. KJS is a summer program designed to give incoming K students extra literacy support before Kindergarten begins.
