MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING OF March 19, 2026
Current Board Members-
North Berwick- Lauren Janousek, Kate Whalen, Joshua Tabor
Berwick- Alison Herlihy, Marissa Tasker, Peg Wheeler
Lebanon- Nancy Sewell, Jeridene Basko, Melissa Cyr

A meeting of the Board of Directors was held in person at Noble Middle and High School on March 19, 2026 at 6:00 pm with all members attending.
There were 30 in the audience.
Pledge of Allegiance
Ms. Wheeler read the public input statement.
Public Input:
The following people spoke in public input in the first session:
Sofie Larson of North Berwick Resident/ Brenna Whitney- President and Vice President of the MSAD 60 Teacher Association.
Mallory Prince, Lebanon Resident and MSAD 60 Employee.

Minutes:
Ms. Wheeler made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Tasker to accept the minutes of March 5, 2026 as amended. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Ms. Wheeler made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Tasker to accept the minutes of March 12, 2026. All members voted in favor, except Mr. Tabor who abstained and the motion passed.
Ms. Whalen shared with the board the request to add to the board agenda. Ms. Wheeler made the motion to set the date and time for graduation. It was seconded by Ms. Herlihy, all members voted and the motion passed.
Set the Time and Date for Graduation 2026
Graduation is scheduled for Friday June 5, 2026 at 6:30 pm. Ms. Wheeler made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Basko to hold graduation on June 5, 2026 at 6:30 pm. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Financial Summary February 2026:
Ms. Denise Van Campen, Business Manager, shared with the board the financial summary for the General Fund as of February 28, 2026. Board members asked some clarifying questions and Ms. Van Campen responded.
Employment:
Blake Bolduc- Noble Middle School Grade 8, English Language Arts Teacher. Ms. Cyr made the motion and it was seconded by Mr. Tabor to accept the resignation of Mr. Bolduc at the end of the 2025-26 school year. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Erin Foster- Noble High School Grade 9, Writing Teacher. Ms. Wheeler made the motion and it was seconded by Mr. Tabor to accept the resignation of Ms. Foster at the end of the 2025-26 school year. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Heather Janson- Noble High School Grades 11 and 12, Math Teacher. Ms. Wheeler made the motion and it was seconded by Mr. Tabor to accept the resignation of Ms. Janson at the end of the 2025-26 school year. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Superintendent Update:
High School Unified Basketball wrapped up their season on Tuesday, 3/17 and the Middle School will finish on Monday. Both teams had very successful seasons.
Tuesday, 3/24 will be the All District Music Festival taking place in the A gym. This year it will be happening during the school day for students in grades 4-12 to provide a better experience. We are really excited for this year's event and the new format!
Wednesday, 3/25 is the District Art Show. Come on out and see the work produced by students throughout our district.
Friday, 3/27 is the District Noble's Got Talent event (presented by Noble High School Music Department). Show time is 6:30pm. Tickets are sold at the door, $8 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under.

Board Budget Workshop
Ms. Janousek made a motion and it was seconded by Ms. Herlihy to adjourn the meeting. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
