MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING OF February 12, 2026
Current Board Members-
North Berwick- Lauren Janousek, Kate Whalen, Joshua Tabor
Berwick- Alison Herlihy, Marissa Tasker, Peg Wheeler
Lebanon- Nancy Sewell, Jeridene Basko, Melissa Cyr
Facilities Committee Meeting 6:15 pm.

A meeting of the Board of Directors was held in person at Noble Middle and High School on February 12, 2026 at 7:15 pm with all members attending in person except
There were 50 plus in the audience.
Pledge of Allegiance
The Vice Chair read the public input statement.
Public Input:
The following people spoke in public input in the first session:

•Priscilla Forziati, Lebanon
•Sofie Larsen, North Berwick
•Jen Dillon, Lebanon
•Kevin Jessel, Berwick
Minutes:
Ms. Tasker made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Wheeler to accept the minutes of January 22, 2026. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Sabbatical Proposal:
Ms. Elizabeth Laine shared her sabbatical proposal. The board will vote on this at the Feb. 26th meeting.
Transportation Update:
The Superintendent and Ms. Lee-Ann Cammett, Director of Transportation, gave an update on transportation.
SRRF Award:
Ms. Wheeler made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Janousek to move forward with the SRRF grant. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Technology-Continued Discussion Opt Out K-3:
The board then discussed the potential for guidelines and a parental choice option for one to one technology.
Policy Second Reading
ACAA-R- Student Discrimination/ Harassment and Title IX Sexual Harassment Complaint Procedures
Ms. Wheeler made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Herlihy to approve ACAA-R as amended. All members voted in favor except Mr. Tabor, Ms. Basko, Mr. Cyr, and Ms. Sewell and the motion passed.
JLCD- Administering Medication to Students
Mr. Tabor made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Herlihy to table JLCD as amended at time. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Employment:
New Hire
Ryan Peters- Assistant Athletic Director, a graduate from Springfield College with a Master’s degree in Education Athletic Leadership. Ms. Cyr made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Wheeler to approve Mr. Peters. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Riley Champagne- Noble Intermediate School Gr 6 Social Studies, a graduate from University of Massachusetts with a Master’s degree in Education and a concentration in History. Ms. Wheeler made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Cyr to approve Ms. Champagne. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Retirement:
Rosanna Pass- Noble High School Spanish Teacher. Thank you for 28 years of employment with MSAD 60. Ms. Wheeler made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Herlihy to approve the retirement resignation of Ms. Pass with thanks and congratulations and regrets. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Jill Hofmeister- Noble Middle School Success Teacher. Thank you for 25 years of employment with MSAD 60. Ms. Wheeler made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Herlihy to approve the retirement resignation of Ms. Hofmeister with thanks and congratulations and regrets. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Tim Lounsbury Noble High School Guidance Counselor. Thank you for 34 years of employment with MSAD 60. Ms. Tasker made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Cyr to approve the retirement resignation of Mr. Lounsbury with thanks and congratulations and regrets. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Superintendent Update:
Noble’s Got Talent
ELO and ACCESS business leadership meeting
Indoor Track Qualified 10 athletes for state championship
Noble won the Dual
Also won the South Regional Championship
Girls wrestling won several tournaments throughout the year… next Tuesday finals
Other:
Ms. Herlihy shared that she had been approached by a teacher to try and develop a volunteer coordinator position at each of the schools.
Mr. Tabor asked a question regarding the presence of the police this evening.
Ms. Sewell asked for a copy of the stipends for budget season.
Ms. Janousek shared the 100s day celebration that occurred recently throughout the district.
Ms. Basko thanked Mr. Tabor for the visitors to the last meeting.

Mr. Joe Rafferty, current chair of the cultural affairs committee at the State Level.
Executive Session 1 MRSA 405(6)(E) Legal Rights and Duties of School Board
Mr. Tabor made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Tasker to go into an executive session pursuant to 1M.R.S.A§405(6)(E) Legal Rights and Duties of School Board. All members voted in favor and the motion passed. In at 9:07. Out at 10:53 pm.

Ms. Janousek made a motion and it was seconded by Ms. Herlihy to adjourn the meeting. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
