MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING, April 8, 2021


A meeting of the Board of Directors was held virtually and in person at Noble High School on April 8, 2021 at 7:00 pm, with all members present except Mr. Doiron and Ms. Manley.


Ms. Neubert shared the public input statement.



Mr. Doiron entered the meeting at 7:10 pm.


Ms. Amy Chasse, our financial auditor from RKO shared the overview of the 19/20 fiscal year. She shared that we had a clean audit this year with no findings. All tests were met with no issues. All testing was clean. Payroll, federal funds, receipts were all examined and verified. Again, there were no negative findings. No management comments on any of the school activity funds.


Ms. Potter made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Hagenbuch to accept the minutes of March 25, 2021. All members voted in favor except Ms. Neubert, Ms Schaeffer who abstained and the motion passed.


Ms.Potter made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Corliss to approve the FY 22 School Nutrition program budget.


All members voted in favor and the motion passed.


Ms. Potter made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Corliss to approve the FY 22 Adult Education Budget All members voted in favor and the motion passed.


Ms.Potter made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Corliss to approve the FY 22 school budget of $43,631,658 and the local share $21,586,115. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.


The board then discussed the format for our budget meeting on May 20, 2021. After several minutes of questions and conversations the board agreed that there will be a virtual budget presentation and we will provide an opportunity for the public to ask and receive questions. Those questions will be published on the website well in advance of the school referendum vote. The budget referendum is scheduled for June 8, 2021.


Ms. Corliss made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Neubert to accept $500 from Stonewall Kitchen with gratitude. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.


Ms. Corliss made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Potter to accept the $550.40 from the NB PTO. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.


Employment:


The Superintendent shared a letter of resignation from Ms.Ashlee Ridlon, Kindergarten teacher in Lebanon. Ms. Corliss made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Neubert to accept the letter of resignation of Ms. Ridlon. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.


Ms Corliss made the motion and it was seconded by Ms Neubert to adjourn. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.


Adjourned at 8:28 pm.
