MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING OF July 14, 2022
A meeting of the Board of Directors was held in person in North Berwick, Maine on July 14, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. with all members attending except Ms Janousek, Mr. Doiron and Ms. Manley. There were 0 in the audience.
Ms. Hagnebuch made the motion and it was seconded by Ms Neubert to go into executive session pursuant to 1 MRSA 405(6)(A) Duties of Officials/Appointees/Employees. All members voted in favor and the motion passed. In at 6:43 pm. Out at 7:03
The vice chair shared the public input statement.
Public Input: None at this time
The Assistant Superintendent shared the ESEA application for the 22/23 school year. Ms. Neubert made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Lovejoy to approve the 22-23 ESEA application. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Ms. Hagenbuch made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Travers that the warrant for assessment of tax and the assessment schedule and notice of installments for each member municipality prepared by the Treasurer for fiscal year July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 be approved and be issued in form presented to this meeting; and that the Treasurer be authorized and directed to deliver to each member municipality its Warrant for Assessment of Tax and its Assessment Schedule and Notice of Installments.
Employment: The superintendent shared the nomination of Alex McCormack Kuhman as Assistant Athletic Director. Ms. Lovejoy made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Neubert to accept the nomination of Mr. McCormack Kuhman as Assistant Athletic Director.
The Superintendent shared the resignation of Ms. Liz Mitro as a math teacher at NHS. Ms. Hagenbuch made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Lovejoy to accept the resignation Mitro. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
The Superintendent shared the nomination of Mr. Robert Lansing as a math teacher at NHS. Ms. Hagenbuch made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Lovejoy to approve the nomination of Mr. Robert Lansing as NHS math teacher. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
Other Business:
August 30th is the next board meeting. Please note it is a Tuesday. The September meetings will be September 8 and 22.
Ms. Neubert made the motion and it was seconded by Ms. Lovejoy to adjourn the meeting. All members voted in favor and the motion passed.
